Day 5, Month 4, Year 2730 of Our Exile (Mon Jul 7 08:51:40 PDT 2008)

Adam created on the third day, and what that means

Today the Reactor Core presents a new article, Genesis 1 and 2 compared — Adam Created on the Third day, not the Sixth

The article displays Genesis 1 and 2 side by side so you can easily see the whole story of creation that these two different accounts tell. You will see that they agree with, and do not conflict with each other.

It can seem at first that the creation of mankind on the sixth day conflict with the idea that Adam was created on the third day. The article addresses this item and shows it not to be an issue after all.

The article also contains a little bit of commentary on Genesis 1 and 2, concerning the nature of families in heaven, the implications of Adam's first job being the naming of animals, and so forth.

Amusingly, I did this parallel study in the winter of 2007/2008. I quickly phoned all my friends in the British Israel and Messianic movements and shared it with them. Lately, when I mention this research to people, they say they've already heard it from other people. Word spreads quickly, hallelujah!

Update Day 19, Month 4, Year 2730 of Our Exile (July 19, 2008) Jake Fronczak wrote in with an update to this article; read about it here: Update on Adam's Third Day Creation
