One Week of Food for Different Societies

Look - we could eat on $1.23 a week!

More importantly, most of the "cheapest" families eat mutton regularly. I bet there's a reason for this. And of course they also eat lots of raw, unprocessed food. If only I could get that stuff on the cheap. I can't find wheat berries for a reasonable price, anywhere in the state. $.65 a pound is the best we can do and it's hours away. You almost have to grow it yourself.

Anyway, it's always nice to dispel the myth of high overhead and living costs that supposedly force most of us to have "Jobs." Thought this was interesting.

To Jake's note, I have to add that from the photo, the family that lives on $1.28 didn't only eat mutton; they also ate lentils, peas, and barley. The prophet Ezekiel lived on those four grains for two years. They are very complete in their nutrition. Combine that with milk and cheese, as well as mutton, and you have the healthiest diet in the world. Notice that all the families that spend a lot on food, spend it on vegetables. Vegetables are bad for you. They suck the vitamins and minerals out of your body, and they deplete the soil whereever they are grown.

Ezekiel 4:9-11

9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.

A shekel is a third of an ounce. So Ezekiel had to live on less than half a pound of bread by weight. And to drink, he had just over a pint of water to drink every day. A man who is lying on his side could survive on that diet, but he must have been looking pretty skinny by the end of the 390 days. However, the food itself was healthy, so Ezekiel (Zeke) would have stayed healthy during the time period. Remember, it was this same food that Daniel and his companions asked to be fed in the King of Babylon's palace.

Daniel 1:8-16

8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

God's idea of an ideal diet is butter and honey. I kid you not. Read Isaiah 7:22. It would be interesting to try it. I'd like to try it at some point so I can report how it went. Didn't God call Canaan a land "flowing with milk and honey"? Butter is a highly concentrated form of milk.

Isaiah 7:14-25

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
17 The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

Exodus 3:8,17

8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

Milk, cheese, butter, honey, mutton, split-pea soup, lentil soup, bread made from wheat, and beer made from barley. What more could a man ask for?

Subject: The prophecies of Saturn in the bible

Hello,

I am new to the group. I have briefly went through some of the history of the post here dealing with what some call "Lunar Sabbaths". I did not read them all, so I do not know to what detail you guys have discussed the subject. I currently I keep the Sabbath seven days from the end of the New Moon each month. I hate the term "Lunar Sabbath". If anything I am a Lunar/Solar Sabbath keeper.

Even still, I wanted to bring something new to the table, or at least I believe it is new.

Many have never put the pieces of the puzzle together, to show the fact that the most hated false god of the bible, Molech, has many names. One of those names is Satyr or Saturn and the bible has much to say about these gods and the means by which Israel worshiped them down through time and each and every way has everything to do with the calendar.

The very first mention of this false god system is in Lev. 17:7. One has to run down the foot notes or simply look up the meanings of the word(s) "goat demon", but the actual word is Satyr or Saturn.

As we will see, this is a direct reference to the golden calf, created by Aaron in the wilderness when Moses was on the mountain.

Now I know that you may be saying, how can a goat and a calf be the same thing? The answer is that both were sacrificial animals symbolizing the same thing. Molech has many idols and יהוה recognizes them all.

The next link to the? Israel's false worship system is found in 2Chon. 11:15. This is when Jeroboam changed the fall Feast to an eighth month feast rather than the true seventh month festival. In doing so, he resurrected what Israel tried to do in the wilderness in Exodus 32. Again, the KJV does not do justice to the actual words in the verse. One has to research to find out that the word "demon" actually refers to the goat demon or Satyr.

Then the story is picked up in Amos 7:7-9.

It is interesting to note that Amos is written to all of the major empires of that time as a type of all the end time empires of this time. In other words, it is written to the entire world system. For truly the entire world wonders after the Beast, which is the Papal/Pagan Gregorian calendar. Every nation on the fact of the earth now prescribes to the calendar of Rome.

At any rate, in Amos 7:7-9 יהוה says this.

"Thus He showed me, Behold, יהוה stood on a wall made with a plumb line, with a plumb line in His hand. And יהוה said unto me, 'Amos, what do you see?' And I said, 'a plumb line'.? 'Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the? midst of my people Israel, and I will not pass by them any longer. The high places of Isaac shall be desolate and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste and I will rise up with a sword against the House of Jeroboam.

This is a direct reference to the false worship system that Jeroboam set up back in 2Chron. 11:15 and it is a prophecy of end time Israel, those of the House of Isaac (Anglo Saxons or messengers of the sons of Isaac).

Least you think I am blowing smoke about the time setting of this prophecy, let's look at the context of what Amos is speaking of and do that, let's go back to Amos 5. Please take the time to carefully read the entire chapter leading up to verse 17 where יהוה says He will pass through, not by or over? and in verse 18 where He make a direct reference to the Day of יהוה. And we'll pick up the story in verse 25.

"Did you offer me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O House of Israel? You also carried Sikkuth your King (Molech or Saturn) and Chium (the calf or goat demon) your idols, which was the star (the planet Saturn) of your gods, which you made for yourselves. therefore, I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus, says יהוה."

Now the depths of this prophecy does not stop here. This theme of not passing by any more is picked up in chapter 8 with a parable of the summer fruit (which is wheat for the two loaves of the Feast first fruits, olives for oil and grapes for new wine). יהוה says:

"The end (giving the time setting) has come upon my people Israel, for I will not pass by them anymore."

And in verse 5, we find the heart of the matter, the keeping of the New Moon and the Sabbath for the purpose of buying and selling of all things Wheat.

This is the attitude that brought on calendar change down through time. The act of buying and selling on the Sabbath is still to this day a hot topic amongst Sabbath keeping circles, yet the scriptures are very clear that יהוה expects us to prepare the day before and keep the Sabbath totally set apart or holy, not profaning the Sabbath with every kind of common day activity, but there is more.

In chapter 9:11 יהוה says that He after He has brought Israel in and finally out of captivity, He will raise up the tabernacle or temple of David, re-establishing the true worship system once again to physical Israel. This is a direct reference to what Ezekiel speaks of in Chapters 40-48 and the temple of Zadok, the High Priest of David's time (Ezk. 40:46 and 43:19 and 44:15 and 48:11)

This is an important fact to consider because of what is written in Ezk. 46:1-3, because truly יהוה is (through the prophecies of Ezekiel) showing what is the true form of worship concerning the calendar.

To anyone who has actually taken to the time to read and consider what is at the heart and core of the topic of "lunar Sabbaths", you will instantly recognize this verse as being the missing piece of the puzzle showing that the New Moon is a non working, non buying and selling day on which worship is done, at the temple.

Thus יהוה is restoring His true form of physical worship for physical Israelite in the Kingdom of יהוה.

Now the story or theme is not limited to the Old Testament. What I am about to reveal to you may shock you to the core, but I now believe it is one of the most astounding restorations of truth yet to date.

The question I raise to all here is: Did Yahushua keep the same Sabbath as all the Jews of His day?

Most would say yes and I most certainly would have said yes just a few short months ago, but no longer.

You see, in Acts 7:42-43, Stephen had this to say to the Jews of Messiah's and Stephen's day.

"Then The Almighty turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven (Saturn), as it is written in the book of the prophets (Amos) saying, 'Did you offer to me sacrifices during the forty years in the wilderness, O House of Israel? You also took up your tabernacle of Molech the star of your god Remphan, images which you made to worship and I will carry you away beyond Babylon'."

Thus from this we can see that the Jews of his day (the first century) still held to this false form of worship and in fact Yahushua said the exact same thing in Matthew 16:3.

Messiah said this:

"..........Hypocrites, you know how to discern the face of the sky, but you can not discern the signs of the Moedim."

Now I did not write it the way it is translated in the KJV because the understanding is lost in the translation. The Greek word translated "times" at the end of verse 3 is #2540 kairos. It is the Greek equivalent of the word Moedim in the Hebrew. In fact, in the Greek translation of the Old Testament (The LXX or Septuagint) when the translators came to the Hebrew word "Moedim" they translated in the Greek, kairos.

Thus Messiah was saying that the Jews of His day could not tell the signs of the moedim and did not have יהוה calendar correct.

Historical evidence shows that the Jews of the first century kept the day devoted to Saturn or Saturn's day.

Thus if Stephen scolded the Jews of his day for holding to the false pagan god Saturn AKA Molech, the only thing I can conclude is that the Jews of Messiah's day kept the wrong weekly Sabbath (a fixed market week, rather than by the moon) and they killed Stephen for it just as they did with Messiah, meaning that during the first century there was a calendar controversy brewing just as there is to this day.

Paul even makes mention of such things in Rom. 14:5, when he says: "One person esteems one day above another (a fixed saturn's day sabbath) yet another esteems every day alike (meaning that the Sabbath can fall on any of the seven market days of Rome). Let each one be fully convinced in his own mind.

Being a life long Saturn's day keeper, I now am fully convinced that Satan has His hands even on that day as well as Sunday.

Please, if I am wrong, would someone here be so kind as to show me how I am wrong.
