I once knew a woman that had a deformed hand (broke her finger and it never healed right.) YHWH told me to minister healing to her. She would not listen neither would she obey when the Holy Ghost told me to tell her that she'd be healed IF she raised up her hands and began to praise Him for healing her. She refused.
A few months later, this same woman held a prayer meeting in her home. She called her aunt, who would not come because she didn't have a car. I offered to go get her as I had a car. She then protested she was sick, and could not come. I said if we get her, and pray FAITH over her, she won't be sick. The woman got angry, and handed me the phone and YHWH spoke to me NOT to preach or teach her but just read the Bible to her.
I tried to teach anyway, the woman would NOT listen. YHWH said to me, I told you so. So I usually carry about a book (which I got from Kenneth Hagin ministries) that's just healing and faith Scriptures. I asked the woman if she would mind if I read the Bible. She said she always LOVES to hear the Word of God. So I read through all the healing Scriptures, one by one and asked, Do you see that? She said, No. I did it again, and finally a third time and suddenly (faith COMES by hearing) she said, Wait! I see. Jesus died on the Cross for my sickness and disease (see I Peter 2:24) as surely as He did for my sins! Why, how come I never saw that before?
Read Ephesians the first chapter. Read Pauls prayer where he says he prays the EYES OF OUR UNDERSTANDING BE ENLIGHTENED! We often don't RECEIVE Gods Word because we don't SEE what it says. Faith comes by hearing (or seeing) Gods Word, and the ABILITY to hear (and see) also comes by meditating in Gods Word.
Feeding on Gods Word will BIRTH it in you.
So when she said that, I said, NOW we are getting somewhere! I began to read more Scriptures and she suddenly began yelling into the phone she was healed! I said, I KNOW THAT! Ive been trying to TELL YOU THAT for over 20 minutes now!
She said, when she said what she said (go read it again..and again and again) the sickness (abscessed tooth) simply vanished on the spot, and she was healed! I handed the phone back to her niece. I don't know what she told her but the niece suddenly kept looking at me all wild eyed.
God has a sense of humor for remember, the niece at one time wouldn't listen to me when I tried to minister healing to her and then YHWH led me to help her aunt receive healing right in front of her … so to speak.
