Another Hebraism in English

There are many Hebrew words and expressions in English, more than most people realize.

Take for instance, the Hebrew word for "shame". LBIIS, or "bush". Did English people always refer to a womans pudenda as her "bush"? I believe the term entered the national consciousness from the Jews who used it as a euphemism. Since pubic hair is a bit "bushy", the goys around them would have started repeating it, not knowing its real meaning.
