George Gordon[1] Law Hour and Editorial Review
Radio Archives

Now including time-compressed versions

in Ogg/Speex format[2]

for faster listening

George Gordon's radio broadcasts[3] usually last an hour. George is a very slow and clear speaker. This is perfect for people to whom English is a second language. For people skilled in the English language, it is nice to speed things up a bit. The SPX files here have each hour compressed into forty-two (42)[4] minutes. When you speed up a tape, it makes a person sound high pitched and squeaky. Using high tech computer wizardry,[5] we were able to speed up the audio while keeping George's voice sounding normal.

Each file download is around five megabytes.

Enjoy!
