It hasn't been updated in three years, but should still work. I was going to update it, but nanoblogger already did it. nanoblogger is what I wanted the diary program to become. I would have done it slightly differently, but it is so similar to what I had in mind it is as if Keith Wood read my mind.


You start it by typing "diary"


The top entry doesn't exist yet; select it to create it


But I'm selecting a previous entry to edit


Now I'm editing the "entry" in vim


I'm done; saving and quitting


And that dumps us back at the command prompt


This is my ~/.diaryrc config file


Here is where the "raw" entries are kept


And here are the resultant html files
